In 2020, the COVID-19 global pandemic upended life as we knew it, shifting the normalcy of our daily lives. It was a time of uncertainty and fear. In the weeks following the initial news of reported cases in the USA, many people experienced what was called "quarantine insomnia." Adults and children were affected alike. I decided to write a book to address "quarantine insomnia" and help establish sleep routines. A good night's sleep prepares one to handle the challenges of tomorrow. This book allowed me to win my very first literary award! I am so grateful that this book has been used to help children get ready for bed-time, and remind families of what truly matters in life.
